A position has become available for a Registered Mental health Nurse in the South Op CMHT based at Gateway House in Wymondham. 

This is a busy friendly team, who see, assess and support all age patients with dementia and also patients aged over 75 with complex mental and physical health needs.  This will be a busy but rewarding role, and you will need to be able to work independently within the MDT. 

Staff currently have busy and complex caseloads, which can present some challenges.  Therefore, we will be looking for someone with good time management skills, and initiative when making decisions about careplanning.  Due to the current skill mix and dynamics in the team, we are only looking for a full time staff member to work over the five days.  Core hours are 09.00 to 17.00.  The role will include

- assessment and careplanning

- duty worker role within the team

- working within an MDT including Consultants, APs and support workers, psychology, outside agencies

-liaising and attending some meetings on the inpatient areas

-supporting carers and relatives

- ensuring all documentation is in date and relevant

you would need to have a positive outlook and enjoy working with this client group
