Clinical Director – Suffolk Children, Families and Young People’s Services (CFYP)
We are looking for an individual to become part an innovative and passionate leadership team focussed on children’s, families and young person’s mental health service in Suffolk. Being Clinical Director, you will be involved in leading on service changes, at pace, while simultaneously being fully engaged in the system-wide discussions that are taking place within a Transformation Partnerships across Norfolk and Suffolk.
This is a career opportunity, to develop and implement real system-wide change for children and young people with mental health and learning disabilities. You can provide life changing outcomes and real co-produced service transformation. As Clinical Lead you will be working with the local health economy, service users, carers and staff. As part of the Care Group team you’ll have the opportunity to influence and improve our services locally.

The role of Clinical Director will be for 37.5 hours per week Clinical Leadership and the remaining time allocated to clinical practise to a relevant role in a clinical position within our Trust - The suitable clinical role will be identified based on experience and area of expertise.
To support you, we will provide you with a bespoke package of development and support. We are embedding a new way of working, so you will receive a comprehensive induction and personal development plan (protected time) with support from an external coach.

The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. You need to subscribe when you have applied for your DBS clearance and there is a time limit to subscribe of 19 days after receipt of your DBS disclosure. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.
This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
