We are looking for positive, innovative individuals who are looking to join the Wellbeing Suffolk service in the role of Psychological wellbeing practitioner.
The Wellbeing Service is a partnership of NHS and voluntary organisations working together to offer a range of free and confidential support to help people make changes to improve their wellbeing and to help them cope with common mental health and emotional issues such as low mood, stress, anxiety and depression.
The Wellbeing Service is delivered in partnership with Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT) and Third sector partners. Our shared vision is that we will: Enable safe, healthy, good quality lives and supportive communities
This is an opportunity to join a team which offers primary care psychological interventions for the population of Suffolk focussed around a stepped care approach. This role is for a Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner who will complement our team of staff of therapists, Link workers, Primary mental health workers and assistant psychologists to deliver group and one to one interventions at step 2. There are two positions available, One is a fulltime substantive role and one will be Fixed Term from Start date until December 31st 2018. Posts will be based in Bury St Edmunds but travel and flexibility will be required.

The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. You need to subscribe when you have applied for your DBS clearance and there is a time limit to subscribe of 19 days after receipt of your DBS disclosure. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.
This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
