Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (IAPT) ideally qualified, may consider newly qualified (see below)

Full time – 37.5 hours per week

Location: across Suffolk

Qualified: band 7

Newly qualified: band 6 progressing to band 7 on successful completion of the training course and achieving provisional accreditation with the BABCP

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and well performing team in Wellbeing Suffolk for a full time Cognitive Behavioral Therapist.

Wellbeing Suffolk is an integrated IAPT service providing a range of support for people with common mental health and emotional issues, such as low mood, depression or stress. We work with people age 16+ following a stepped care model to help people to make the necessary changes to improve their wellbeing and quality of life.

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team including CBTs, Counsellors, Employment Support Workers, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and Assistant Psychologists.

We are an extremely busy service, supporting a large number of people, so excellent organisational skills alongside good computer literacy are essential to this role. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, flexibility and excellent communication skills.

The post holder will also need to provide the flexibility to work out of hours as we are an 8-8 service. So you will need to be able to work across these hours where necessary, and must be a car driver and /or have the ability to travel to locations throughout the organisation.
