An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to appoint a Resilience Manager within the Governance department of a large multi-site mental health Trust.

The role holder will be required to provide comprehensive and robust support in all aspects of Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR). You will provide assurance to internal and external stakeholders that the Trust is compliant with the Civil Contingency Act 2004, Health and Social Care Act 2012 as applicable to EPRR, NHS England Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response Framework, Department of Health EPRR guidance and other NHS requirements.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, who has an Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response qualification and is confident in taking the lead on projects, training, exercising and planning. Experience in a similar senior role within the NHS will be an advantage.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
