Our Acute Services in Norwich is seeking applicants for a Specialty doctor to work within our service. This opportunity specifically relates to CRHT, our Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team

CRHT provides crisis assessment, and home treatment options to adults in the Central Norfolk Locality. CRHT provides access to 24/7 assessments and supports the management of acutely mentally unwell service users within the locality. CRHT aims to reduce the need for admission into hospital wherever possible and provide a range of psychological/ pharmacological interventions aimed at enabling service users to remain in an environment that is the least restrictive and the most conducive to promoting recovery.

NSFT is the main provider of specialist mental health, psychological therapies and learning disability services for the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk, serving a population of 1.6 million, across seven CCGs, with an annual turnover of £220m.

The post holder must be registered with the GMC, possess a license to practice, have S12 Approval and three years or equivalent medical experience which should include experience in the diagnosis and treatment of complex mental illness.
