An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to lead the Occupational Therapy and Fitness team covering inpatient secure services in Norfolk and Suffolk. We are a large therapy team linking in with the 5 wards for low and medium secure service users. We are recovery focused providing core Occupational Therapy and fitness assessments and rehabilitation for patients in secure services. There is a large amount of resources available to the team and exciting opportunities to continue to develop the service.

The team regularly receive positive feedback from service users and visiting inspectors about vocational facilities including the service user run shop, horticultural and workshop areas and wide variety of sessions offered. We are also proud of the whole team being trained in MOHO assessments, our recovery college and our involvement in service projects including staff wellbeing and carers events.

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is able to work autonomously using leadership skills, innovation and creativity to manage the Occupational Therapy & Fitness team and develop the service. The role is well established within the service, you will be fully involved with service meetings and will work closely with all professions within secure service. You will be supported to further your leadership, skills and knowledge through access to training and education.
