An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Reporting Analyst within the Information Department at the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. As the Quality Reporting Analyst you will be key to delivering service quality Information and Intelligence across the Trust, locally and nationally. The Department is evolving as we focus on improving how we collate, analyse and share our information to drive better clinical performance. The Trust is seeking to appoint a confident, committed, skilled and motivated analyst to work as part of the Information Department. You will play a pivotal role in the development of the Information Service provision by offering knowledge and guidance, ensuring a comprehensive statutory reporting and statistical information analysis service is maintained.

As the Quality Reporting Analyst the successful applicant will be working with our Service Quality department in assisting with data provision for the purposes of supporting contractual quality reporting requirements or service requests for ad hoc service quality reports. 

You should have the ability to produce intelligence derived from a range of data collected via Trust systems held locally and deliver succinct reporting that supports stakeholder requirements that will be used for service delivery, service improvement, business planning and commissioning. You will possess good technical, analytical, communication and organisational skills with a flair for improvement. You will have the ability to produce and submit information in a timely manner to meet deadlines which can at times be tight.

You should be educated to Degree level or have equivalent experience. Experience of using Microsoft applications including SQL Server Management Studio (T-SQL) and Excel to interrogate, analyse and present data in appropriate formats is an essential requirement for this post. Knowledge of a wide range of NHS Hospital Based Systems is desirable.

This is a full time post (37.5 hours) and will be based either in Suffolk or Norfolk depending on your preference. There will be a requirement to travel between the teams two sites and on occasion you may be asked to travel to other sites within the Trust.
