The Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provide inpatient and community based mental health services across Norfolk and Suffolk and we are one of the largest mental health care trusts in the country.

In some of our localities, we are commissioned to provide learning disability services, along with specialist services such as forensic secure services, perinatal and Well-being services. We have also recently been commissioned to open a brand new mother and baby unit at our site in Norwich.

We are seeking 0.6WTE clinical pharmacist to cover maternity leave. The main roles and duties will include:

  • Delivering a clinical pharmacy service to a number of specialist mental health wards
  • Attend multi-disciplinary team meetings
  • Patient consultations
  • Answering medicines information enquiries

The successful candidate will have good communication and organisational skills as well as being able to prioritise workload.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
