Reed Ward is looking for a Clinical Support Worker who is committed and able to integrate within an established multi-disciplinary team. You will need to be enthusiastic and conscientious in providing an evidence-based approach to patient centred care.

You will be compassionate, empathetic and sensitive in your approach when working with patients, families and carers. You will have the right values for our team being positive, respectful and working together as a team. We will support you with a programme of training and development, supported by an experienced nursing team and our own Clinical Practice Educator. Reed ward is an Acute inpatient ward providing assessment and treatment for patients with complex dementia diagnosis and Physical health needs. We are a very motivated and skilled team which gained a "Good" rating by the CQC in 2018.

Reed ward has many areas of interest and groups for you to participate in to help our patients, Dementia Care Mapping, Physical health monitoring and carer/family engagement are a few of them. Reed ward is part of the Hammerton Court complex of 3 Dementia care wards. It is a purpose-built building designed for Dementia patients. We regularly have fun days whereby staff and patients enjoy different activities from fete's to visits by miniature donkeys!

You will be supported in attending statutory and mandatory training, as well as other courses that will support you in your role. Your performance and development needs will be reviewed regularly through management and clinical supervision and the organisations appraisal process.
