Calling all aspiring 3rd year students and mental health nurses to come and work with us on Waveney Ward at Hellesondon Hospital. Waveney Ward is a 17 bedded female acute ward, assessing and treating people with enduring mental health illness and managaing short term crisis admissions.

We are working in partnership with the outstanding East London Foundation Trust and want you to join us to be part of a very exciting #NorwichNurseLife scene. In return we will support you in developing your nursing and leadership skills within our wards based in Norwich working for our Acute Inpatient Services.

We are dedicated in providing the best outcomes for those using our inpatient mental health services across Central Norfolk. As a service we embrace the principles of Recovery, are committed to #ReducingRestrictivePractice and follow the @safewards model.

We are passionate about delivering care that aims to make a difference for those experiencing acute mental ill health. Working creatively with arts, fitness and music charitable organisations we are supporting service users and staff in transforming our inpatient environments into much brighter, comfortable and therapeutic places.

Our new vision is to ensure that everyone has a role to play - citizens, health professionals, schools, universities, councils, police, employers, voluntary and community groups.
