A rare opportunity has arisen in the Forensic Community Mental Health Service, covering Norfolk & Suffolk, for an experienced Mental Health Nurse to work as a senior care coordinator. You will be joining a very friendly, supportive and experienced multi-disciplinary team at an exciting time, as we are expanding the team and offering more advice and support to other services and agencies.

With much smaller caseload sizes than generic CMHT’s; you will have the opportunity and time to build positive therapeutic relationships and deliver a range of interventions with Service Users and Carers. You will be well supported to develop your knowledge and skills of working with this particular client group and to deliver evidence based interventions. You will have the opportunity to develop line management skills and be supported to deliver excellent management supervision to junior staff. You will have the opportunity to participate in monthly team business and learning activities and develop lead roles for specific areas of interest. You will be supported to further your skills and knowledge through access to training and education.

This post will be based in Norwich and predominantly cover Norfolk, but there may be requirements to provide cover in the Suffolk area.
