The Adult Community Service in Central Norfolk are looking to recruit a Band 7/8a Clinical Psychologist to join our busy Psychological Therapies Team, based at The City Anchorage, Julian Hospital, Bowthorpe Road, Norwich.

We are looking for someone with experience, or who wishes to gain experience, of working psychologically with adults with complex presentations. The role is varied and challenging and we are seeking someone who would be able to carry out assessments and offer individual and group therapy, as well as offering psychological consultation to the multi-disciplinary teams and delivering teaching and training for staff.

The role involves taking on a key role in one of our three Community Mental Health Teams. This involves attending team meetings, providing in-put into the daily FACT (Flexible Assertive Community Treatment) meetings, and managing referrals to psychology. We are part of the larger Psychological Therapies Service for Norfolk and have a wide range of expertise within our service. We are able to provide high quality clinical supervision and opportunities for further training locally. There would also be opportunities to supervise others within the role. We have close links with the University of East Anglia Doctoral Training Programme in Clinical Psychology. A preceptorship role for a newly qualified psychologist would be welcomed.
