The Adult Community Service in North Norfolk are looking to recruit a Band 8a Psychologist to join our busy Psychological Therapies Team, based at The Peddars Centre, Hellesdon Hospital.
We are looking for someone who feels confident in working with adults with complex presentations. The role is varied and challenging and we are seeking someone who would be able to carry out assessments and offer individual and group therapy, as well as offering psychological consultation to the multi-disciplinary teams and delivering teaching and training for staff.
We work alongside two multi-disciplinary Community Mental Health Teams, and the you are expected to attend team meetings and to provide in-put to the daily FACT (Flexible Assertive Community Treatment) team meetings. We are part of the larger Psychological Therapies Service for Norfolk and have a wide range of expertise within our service. We able to provide high quality clinical supervision and opportunities for further training locally. There would also be opportunities to supervise others within the role. We have close links with the University of East Anglia Doctoral Training Programme in Clinical Psychology. A preceptorship role for a newly qualified psychologist would be considered.
