The Mental Health Liaison Service (MHLS) is a Core 24 liaison team that aspires to clinical, teaching and research excellence and has applied for PLAN accreditation. We are a dynamic, rapidly developing and evolving service covering all ages over 16 years in a 1254-bed busy general hospital dealing with over 500 referrals per month.

The MHLS is the interface between physical and mental health working within the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) and the wider Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. Our multidisciplinary team is made up of a wide range of professional expertise and skills with a vigorous culture of collaborative working. This provides robust support in decision making; internal education and training; and assistance in your professional development.

We are looking for a highly motivated, forward thinking individual who wants to be part of creating excellence; and who thrives on working in a stimulating, high-pressured, strongly supported environment.

Permanent Clinical Support Team Administrator – you will be based in a shared clinical/admin office. Duties within this role include:-

  • Working closely with the Clinical Team
  • Administration of referrals received for the team under guidance of the shift co-ordinator
  • Data entry onto clinical systems
  • Communication with Partners and Stakeholders, by phone, email and face to face
  • The role has no face to face contact with service users
  • Hours – 4 weekly rosters, shifts are made up of three 12 hour shifts, Monday – Friday 07:20 – 20:00, Saturday - Sunday 07:30 -16:00, the aim is to work one weekend in the 4 weekly roster, we try to be flexible depending on service requirements.
