If so, we are delighted to be able to offer you an exciting opportunity to support the growth of the Compass Service in the vital role of Compass Deputy Team Manager. The service has been developed in partnership with Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust, The Benjamin Foundation, The Engage Trust and Norfolk County Council Children’s Services. This partnership is a unique integration of services to ensure that children and their families are able to achieve meaningful and lasting change.
As the Compass Deputy Team Manager you will be support the Team Manager in the day to day operational management and organisation of our Outreach, Looked After and Adopted Children and Schools Teams. Our multi-disciplinary team includes Clinical Psychology, Art Therapy, Family Systemic Therapy and Practitioners.
In this role you will provide line management, supervision, reporting and monitoring of key outcomes to partners and the clinical team. Our remit is to work with some of Norfolk’s most vulnerable young people and with families who are either looked after, adopted or require specialist therapeutic educational input. The team's approach is to work collaboratively across agencies which can pose significant challenges to our professional and personal resources, but the rewards for helping achieve positive outcomes for families and the multi-agency system are huge.
As a service we recognise the level of commitment our staff offer our client group and we invest heavily in continuing professional development, training and supervision for the whole team. If you have experience of, or feel ready to take the first steps into a career in to management you will be ideal candidate and will enjoy working across the Compass Service as we bring together Health, Social Care and Education.
All candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and reference checks. The post is community based in a rural location, so you will need to be able to travel independently within Norfolk and have a full clean driving license. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative team

Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.
This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
