We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, conscientious and flexible Business & Administration Apprentice to support the work of the Talent for Care Agenda within our Education & Development Team. This post will require an excellent telephone manner, good interpersonal skills, initiative and flexibility. Your duties will include arranging meetings and information sessions, taking notes, updating and keeping data bases, data entry and communicating/corresponding with staff by telephone and email. You will be trained in a full range of office procedures enabling you to successfully complete your apprenticeship and apply for future internal and external vacancies. The work of the Talent for Care Team includes traineeships, apprenticeships and developing staff at Bands 1-4 to continue their qualifications to registration.The role will be based at Hellesdon Hospital and the working hours will be 37.5 hours per week. Occasional travel may be required. You will enrol with a local educational provider and complete the Level 2 Diploma in Business & Administration. this will be delivered as work-based learning. We welcome applications from internal and/or external applicants aged 16+. for the post you will need to have a good general education and have at least 4 GCSE's at D or above or equivalent and have an excellent attendance record. You will be motivated and committed to completing the Apprenticeship Programme in 13 months. There are eligibility criteria for government funded apprenticeship schemes that apply and therefore applicants must be aged 16 or over and have been resident in the UK/EU for the last 3 years. The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.
This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
