We are looking for a passionate, motivated and resilient Occupational Therapist to join our diverse team made up of Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioners, Family Liaison Leads and Wellbeing Nurses.

This post will be based on Rollesby Ward which is a 10 bed Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Whilst working on this ward you will be working closely with an Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner and the wider the MDT.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist (OT) with a strong interest in mental health to join our team. Experience in mental health is beneficial however not essential. You will work with minimal supervision, be passionate, kind and proactive when developing all aspects of the OT Service. This will include developing the OT Program, Care Plans and have the opportunity to develop skills in using standardised assessment tools.

You will be supported to further your knowledge and clinical experience in this area with guidance from an experienced Therapy Team. If you are newly qualified you will be supported to complete your preceptorship and will be able to attend the Newly Qualified Academy.

Any applicant should be prepared to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, patients, carers, relatives and external agencies in order to provide a holistic, cohesive, therapeutic environment and plan of care for any/all patients.

This post is fixed for 1 year due to maternity cover. Please note that this post may be offered as a secondment at the discretion of your manager.
