Catton Ward at Northside House has opportunities for two administrators to work closely with the medical and clinical teams in an interesting role and a lively environment.

One full-time (37.5 hours per week) and one part-time role (22.5 hours per week) are available.  A job-share would be considered. 

The successful candidates would work chiefly with our Medium Secure Unit's medical staff: arranging and minuting meetings, typing letters and reports, taking telephone calls and maintaining diaries.  The post requires a confident, level-headed individual who can work independently in a busy office environment, responding to changing priorities and delivering accurate work within tight deadlines. You will have the ability to communicate clearly at a range of levels, pay close attention to detail and be committed to the care and wellbeing of Service Users with mental health issues. Professionalism and discretion when dealing with sensitive confidential information is essential.

A knowledge of the full suite of Microsoft applications is essential and applicants will ideally have attained RSA II typing qualifications or their equivalent. The successful candidate will possess excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure. The role requires the ability to show initiative, along with the capacity to be flexible and work as part of a team.
