The Perinatal Community Mental Health services provide prevention, detection and management of mental health problems that complicate pregnancy and the postpartum year. These include new-onset problems, recurrences of previous problems in women who have been well for some time and in women with existing mental health problems who become pregnant. Promoting the relationship with the infant and its emotional and physical well-being and development are central to the care provided by perinatal mental health services.
The Perinatal Community Mental Health Team is looking to recruit a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. This is a full-time, permanent post.
The Perinatal Community Mental Health service offers an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist multi-disciplinary setting, working closely with key partners in health, social care and other sectors. We are looking for a qualified nurse practitioner who will be a key player within our team.

The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. You need to subscribe when you have applied for your DBS clearance and there is a time limit to subscribe of 19 days after receipt of your DBS disclosure. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.
This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
