CTL Perinatal Service (Suffolk-wide)
Our specialist community service supports both antenatal and postnatal new mums with a range of moderate to severe mental health, and other complex issues. Covering both East and West Suffolk, the service is available to women during pregnancy at the time of birth and up to a year following the birth of their child. This service was launched in February 2018 and we have received additional Wave 2 funding to develop a more comprehensive service. The service will include nursing, occupational therapy, psychiatry and psychology staff. The service works closely with our partners in West Suffolk Hospital and Ipswich Hospital, as well as community services.
You will be suitably qualified/registered as a nurse, occupational therapist or social worker and be able to evidence your knowledge of mental health by your level of experience in both clinical and leadership roles, especially as part of multi-disciplinary teams. Your experience of leading service development and the ability to competently assess risk will be essential as will your excellent communication, analytical and decision making skills.
We offer a supportive team environment where you will develop your own knowledge of psychosocial interventions and positive health promotion, with first hand experience of engaging service users.

This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
