Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.Adult Community Consultant Psychiatrist, Kings Lynn, West Norfolk.
We are very pleased to be recruiting to 2 WTE Consultant posts in Adult Community Team based in Kings Lynn (part of Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust). This post is community based and covers the Community Mental Health Team of which Flexible Assertive Community Team are a part of.
The Community Team is a well established and experienced team consisting of Senior Mental Health Practitioners, Assistant Practitioners and an experienced and highly skilled Specialist Clinical Psychologist.This job would be ideal either for an established consultant, or someone who has recently finished their training. The successful applicant would be joining an enthusiastic team of Adult Psychiatrists who are welcoming and supportive. There are currently 2 full time Community Consultant Psychiatrists and 1 Specialty Doctor within the department. There are trainees on regular rotation. The successful applicant would be encouraged and supported to take on appropriate supervision of junior colleagues.
The trust has a strong educational reputation with excellent opportunities for teaching and research. There are close ties to both the University of Cambridge and University of East Anglia (based in Norwich). There is a very active teaching programme for medical students from the University of Cambridge. In addition research is strongly encouraged within the department and there is a well established research network within the trust. In addition there is a local teaching programme for all psychiatry doctors and a regular old age psychiatry departmental teaching programme.The successful candidate would take part in a West Norfolk locality on-call rota, currently approximately 1 in 10.
This job would be ideal either for an established Consultant, or someone who has recently finished their training. The successful applicant would be encouraged and supported to take on appropriate supervision of junior colleagues.

This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
