We are looking to recruit two Psychological Therapists, one to our West Norfolk team based in Kings Lynn, and one to our Central team based in Norwich City Centre.The Wellbeing Service (Norfolk & Waveney) provides a range of support for people with common mental health and emotional issues, such as low mood, depression or stress. We work with people age 16+ to help them to make the necessary changes to improve their wellbeing and quality of life.We are an integrated IAPT service providing both psychological therapy and social interventions. The successful candidate will join a large multidisciplinary team including Counsellors, Peer Support Workers, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Specialist Doctors and Local Associate Coordinators. We are a busy service, supporting a large number of people, so excellent organisational skills alongside good computer literacy are essential to this role. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, flexibility and excellent communication skills. As many of our clients work full time, we require flexibility in working hours, delivering some interventions in the evenings. We would expect the candidates to be willing to work one evening per week (no later than 8pm) within their 37.5 hours.

The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. You need to subscribe when you have applied for your DBS clearance and there is a time limit to subscribe of 19 days after receipt of your DBS disclosure. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.
This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
