The Suffolk Wellbeing Service is an age inclusive provision, we are looking for a passionate, motivated, and inspirational leader to lead the Child and Young person Team.

The CYP team lead will be the perfect role for an experienced clinician with a strong background in mental health, experience of delivering services as per required to best support children, young people and those that support them. In addition you must have experience of management and leadership skills.

The role will be offerings support to the county team, we have bases in the East and West of the county and independent travel will be required between these venues, and other satellite bases.

If you feel you have the vision and drive to offer dynamic leadership to a group of hardworking clinicians, we would love to hear from you. You would be offering operational management to both qualified and trainee Primary Mental Health Workers, working alongside Clinical Supervisors and dedicated Senior Operational and Clinical Leads.

You will be involved in planning and coordinating interventions, support and consultations to best meet the needs of those that are wanting to access and receive the treatment and guidance offered by our bio-psycho-social service.

The CYP team benefits from a dedicated Therapy team who offer a range of psychological and social interventions across Suffolk Wellbeing Services. At Step 2 this includes high volume evidence-based practice in the form of one-to-one guided self help, webinars, psycho-educational groups and computerised CBT. At Step 3 we offer individual and group CBT, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Couples Therapy for Depression, Counselling for Depression and EMDR.

You will be offered robust supervision and access to the NSFT Leadership Academy, providing opportunities for Coaching, Mentorship and Leadership training. The Service has strong links with the University of East Anglia and a keen interest in research at all steps.
