The Wellbeing Service is part of the national IAPT programme, aimed at helping people across Suffolk aged 16 and over, who are suffering with mild to moderately severe anxiety and depression.

Accredited with BABCP or eligible for and working towards accreditation with the BABCP.

We want patients and staff to recommend our organisation as a place where they would be happy for their friends and family to be treated. You can help us do this by bringing your skills, experience and commitment to The Wellbeing Service.

The Wellbeing Service is expanding, and we are beginning to work with people living with Long Term Conditions as well as our core work. We will offer evidence based psychological treatments to help individuals to live well with their condition, and strengthen links with key physical health colleagues in our area. Additional training in working with Long Term Conditions is available.

You will provide high intensity interventions to a range of adults with anxiety, depression and trauma related problems. You will receive regular supervision as well as in service training and CPD days that ensure your continued learning and development. This is an opportunity to join an established team of Psychological Therapists providing a range of NICE compliant treatments at Step 3. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Experience of working in Primary Care will be an advantage. As well as 1:1 work you may be expected to co-facilitate group interventions. For the delivery of group work we provide training and additional support, should you need it. 

As a Band 7 therapist, you will contribute to the on-going development and evaluation of the service.

This vacancy will be based in Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds, working across Suffolk.
