Specialty Doctor Forensic Psychiatry (2 posts)£37,293 - £70,178 per annum (dependant on years of experience)We are looking to recruit two full time specialty doctors to work within our male low secure pathway. One post will be based within our Suffolk service at Foxhall House in Ipswich, the other post within the Norfolk service based at Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich.You will join our complement of 6 Consultants and 3 specialty doctors. Posts are recognised for both core and higher training and are supported by physical health nurses.We will support the training, study time and costs associated with achieving article 14 and RC/AC status. Protected time of 25% SPA per week. Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is the main provider of specialist mental health, psychological therapies, drugs and alcohol and learning disability services for the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk, serving a population of 1.6 million, across seven CCGs, with an annual turnover of £220m. Our Forensic Mental Health Services comprises of low and medium secure inpatient services, community forensic services, and criminal justice liaison services for both counties, as well as inpatient medium secure services for the residents of Cambridgeshire. Our service achieved a “good” rating by CQC when inspected in July 2016 and 2017, but we have higher aspirations.The post holder must be registered with the GMC and possess a license to practice. This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
