Are you a highly motivated, compassionate and dedicated mental health professional with experience of providing high quality care to young people?

Our CONNECT team delivers a therapeutic service through high quality interventions for Children in Care, adopted children and those placed under special guardianship in Suffolk.
We are looking for a senior clinician to join our team who has expertise and a recognised qualification in working with young people using a variety of evidence based non directive therapies to include Play and/or Arts.
You will be passionate about delivering services to these children and their families/carers. You will have a knowledge of the needs of Children in Care and the challenges they face, as well as experience of providing evidence based interventions to young people and multi agency working. This post holder will be working from our Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich bases.
All our CYP teams work closely together with a strong systemic focus. They meet weekly for reflection and clinical review. There is regular and robust supervision with an emphasis on reflective practice and development.
It is an exciting time to join our CYP services in the Trust. As with all CAMHS teams we are undergoing transformation and development plans with other key agencies and development such as CYP-IAPT. We value multi-agency collaborative working and aspire to values from Future In Mind, such as service user participation and ensuring appropriate and evidence based services for the young people we see. Our Trust is committed to developing CYP services and has dedicated leadership for staff working within them.

The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. You need to subscribe when you have applied for your DBS clearance and there is a time limit to subscribe of 19 days after receipt of your DBS disclosure. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.
This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
