Deputy Service Manager (8a) – Acute

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to appoint a Deputy Service Manager for the Acute mental health service in East Suffolk, based at Woodlands Hospital.

The service encompasses 4 acute adult and older people’s wards, including PICU, plus Home Treatment and Crisis services, psychiatric liaison, the Dementia Intensive Support service and provides support to the acute learning disability service.

Working alongside the Modern Matron and reporting directly to the Service Manager, as part of the senior management team this post holder will lead on a defined area of operational responsibility and promote a culture that delivers high quality care, enhances recovery models of treatment and collaborative care planning, which includes reducing restive interventions and a focus on positive behaviour models.
