Due to maternity leave, the Coastal Enhanced Community and Adult Team are pleased to offer a fixed term contract for one year. This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner; Nurse/ Occupational Therapist who has experience of working in the community with working-age adults, who have mental health problems, and their carers.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a sound understanding of the Care Programme Approach and join our friendly, multidisciplinary team of Social Workers, O.T.s, Nurses, Assistant Practitioners, Psychological Therapists; Support Workers, and Psychiatrists.

The Coastal Enhanced Community and Adult Team has a strong 're-ablement' approach which is underpinned by recovery model principles. The team enjoys networking with a wide range of statutory agencies and other stakeholder organisations including strong links with the Recovery College.

Together with service users and carers, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing care plans that promote recovery; social inclusion; occupational support and independence. There will also be the opportunity of running groups that promote psycho-education and provide therapeutic interventions.

We are dynamic and supportive team where you can expect regular supervision and training. In addition, your development needs will be regularly reviewed as part of the Trust's value-based appraisal process.
