Is it your passion to work creatively with children and families? Would you like to work in a dynamic, creative and committed multi-disciplinary team? Are you a highly motivated, compassionate and dedicated mental health professional?

We are excited to have an opportunity for somebody to join our assessment and treatment service in The Enhanced Children & Families Service (0-14 yrs). As a practitioner you will be able to demonstrate a warm, compassionate and needs-led approach to working with our service users and their families. We would welcome applications from Registered Nurses, Social Workers and Therapists.

The role includes multi-agency working alongside the family, local acute hospital, primary care sector, social care, education and voluntary services to ensure the child’s needs are best met.

As part of this team, responsibilities would include undertaking assessments of children and young people in crisis and routine referrals, working collaboratively with families and other supporting agencies to manage needs, as well as holding a caseload.

We are confident that being part of our team would enable you to be the practitioner you trained, and would like, to be.  This role will offer you the time and facilities to make a difference, whilst having the much wider Trust network across Norfolk and Suffolk. There is regular clinical and management supervision with an emphasis on reflective practise. We hold a strong belief in team and individual development.  We provide a full induction program and have extensive training and career development that can be accessed across our Trust.

As a Trust over the past 24 months we have benefited from significant investment, expansion and growth in existing and new services such as Early Intervention in Psychosis, Eating Disorders, the Perinatal Community Mental Health service, the Under 18 Crisis Pathway as well as the Emotional Wellbeing Hub.

It is an exciting time join the service. As with all CAMHS teams, we are undergoing transformation and development plans with other key agencies and developments such as CYP-IAPT. We value multi-agency collaborative working and aspire to values from Future In Mind, such as service user participation and ensuring appropriate and evidence-based services for the young people we see.
