As part of Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, Woodlands has 2 acute admission wards (Poppy & Avocet) and one PICU (Lark) alongside home treatment, dementia intensive support and later life inpatient areas. We currently have an opportunity for a specialty doctor role within a forward thinking and motivated inpatient team on Avocet.
We are looking for a motivated, proactive individual who is keen to join a team across Woodlands that strives to offer the best possible outcomes for our client group(s). We are looking for experienced doctors with relevant acute inpatient experience and who hold a current GMC registered license to practice. This opportunity is within a team that are striving to meet the current challenges of inpatient mental health care, developing our services to improve quality and embracing technological advances to improve care delivery and patient outcomes. We are looking towards future ways of working within a recovery focused environment. We are currently linking up with other mental health trusts and service providers from other sectors to both identify best practice, share knowledge and also develop joined up, networked approaches to supporting individuals requiring our service. There will be opportunities for service review and development and involvement in peer reviews of practice, alongside the delivery safe and effective care to our client group.

The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.
This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
