The Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) are delighted to announce the opening of Yare Ward, a new acute admissions assessment ward situated at Hellesdon Hospital for acute mental illnesses. The opening of the new ward brings new and exciting opportunities for both internal and external candidates.
NSFT provides child and adult mental health services, alcohol treatment, learning disability support, wellbeing and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.
We are looking for a passionate, motivated and inspirational Senior Occupational Therapist to join the team on Yare Ward.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician with a strong background in mental health and Occupational Therapy. You will be working with the ward MDT but will also be part of the diverse Wellbeing and Therapies team which is made up of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioners, Family Liaison Leads and Wellbeing Nurses.
You will work with minimal supervision, be passionate, kind and proactive when developing all aspects of the OT Service including Care Plans and the use of standardised assessment tools. You will be supported to further your leadership skills and knowledge through access to training and education. Any applicant should be prepared to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, service users, carers, relatives and external agencies in order to provide a holistic, cohesive, therapeutic environment and plan of care for any/all service users.

This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
