Do you have a desire to raise the profile of physical health within Mental Health services, so strongly believe in the practice of holistic care and do you want to make a difference to our service users? Then we want to hear from you.
We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible and hardworking assistant practitioners with an interest in physical health. Ideally you'll have some experience in undertaking physical health checks.
The duties of this post are varied, support and undertake a physical health screening service, within community services, for service users with severe mental illness, providing interventions, using the Making Every Contact Count (MECC) approach to support service users to take positive lifestyle changes and liaising with primary, secondary and public health colleagues and services.
The position is with an opportunity for clinical growth and development and our team are committed to support you to achieve your potential in this role. You will also be supported and guided by the Trusts Physical Health Team.
The post covers the Great Yarmouth area and the surrounding villages therefore the post holder must hold a current UK driving licence and be willing to travel.

This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
