Are you passionate about delivering an effective Recovery focused service?

Waveney mental health team are looking for a new colleague, a Band 6 Community Mental Health Practitioner. You will be a qualified professional with experience of working in the community supporting working age adults with mental health problems following the Care Programme Approach. The successful candidate will demonstrate a sound understanding of their role as a Care Coordinator and join our friendly multidisciplinary team of Social Workers, O.T.s and Nurses who are experienced community practioners. The team also comprises of Community Support Workers, Carer assessors, Psychologist, Psychiatrists and Therapists all ably supported by our admin staff.

The team provides a community based service to Lowestoft rural Waveney market Towns and enjoys excellent close working relationships with all statutory and non-statutory partners in developing recovery based care plans, for example supported housing opportunities and admission prevention placements.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to access for the service users and carers that they see our well established Recovery College program, our skilled Peer workers, our Therapeutic day service and the Recovery Information center pathway.
