All young people deserve the best start in life but too often, young people with a mental health problem are not able to fulfil their potential. The Great Yarmouth and Waveney Youth Team are currently looking to recruit a compassionate, dedicated and conscientious individual who is looking to make a positive difference to young people who suffer from mental illness.
The young people we support will be aged between 14 - 25yrs presenting with a variety of mental health difficulties.
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of mental illness and understand the clinical complexity of a range of different mental health presentations. You will be a qualified Mental Health Nurse registered with the NMC with at least four years post registration experience.
The role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist will be to provide clinical leadership to the clinical team in the care, treatment and therapy of the young people we provide interventions to with a clear focus on clinical risk and its management. This will include influencing, leading and motivating staff at all levels within the clinical environment to deliver high quality care.
The successful candidate will provide expertise, support and advice to clinical practitioners regarding all aspects of clinical care including implementing best practise based on evidence based practice and National Guidance.
As a member of the multi disciplinary team you will be able to access bespoke training opportunities available to further enhance your clinical skills.

Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.
This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
