An opportunity has arisen for a part time Clinical Support Team Administrator to join our friendly team of clinical admin staff in providing support to the Pathway Teams and other admin staff as part of the Bury South Integrated Delivery Service. We operate a daily service between the hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.

This vacancy is a part time post of 30 hours a week spread of five working days on a fixed term contract for one year.

You should have good communication, inter-personal and secretarial skills and full commitment to the care and wellbeing of patients. The post requires a confident, level-headed individual who can support a busy team in responding to changing priorities and delivering accurate work within tight deadlines.

You will have the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive issues in a professional manner, and be experienced and competent at organising, administering and taking minutes for formal meetings.

As well as having a good standard of education, you should have at least one year of recent administration/secretarial experience. Good audio typing, RSA typing/word processing, and knowledge of the Microsoft suite of applications are essential. You must possess excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure. The ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your own work is required, as is the capacity to be flexible and adaptable.

You will need to be able to confidently and sensitively deal with telephone calls from individuals who may contact the team in a distressed or challenging manner.
