Through the provision and co-ordination of cost-effective, high-quality services, with a commitment to research and innovation, we are striving to become a national leader in mental health, wellbeing and whole life care.The Home Treatment Team based at Wedgwood House is currently seeking enthusiastic band 6 mental health practitioners to join their dynamic multidisciplinary team. The successful applicant will be working in an environment that is currently going through a period of exciting development and change.The team benefits from a Consultant Psychiatrist, Prescriber, Social Workers, Nurses and Occupational Therapists with input from Clinical Psychologists. We cover the West Suffolk locality and the job role entails visiting people in their own homes with the aim of providing an alternative to hospital admission. We work closely with both community and inpatient teams across the locality.Applicants will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, proven ability to be self-motivated and committed to developing high quality standards of work. We will provide a full induction on recruitment. We have a genuine commitment to training and development with an extensive teaching matrix and protected time for managerial and clinical supervision supported by psychology input. The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. You need to subscribe when you have applied for your DBS clearance and there is a time limit to subscribe of 19 days after receipt of your DBS disclosure. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.
This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
